Gifts for grandparents
Are you looking to surprise your grandparents with a great gift? Perhaps they’re celebrating a birthday, or an anniversary. Or maybe you just want to let them know they’re the best grandparents in the whole wide world, or that you enjoy sleepovers at their house and the fun you have together. Perhaps you’d like to say thank you for always being there to babysit. There are endless reasons to surprise grandma and grandpa.
Gift for grandma
Is your grandma someone you look up to? One of the people you go to for comfort and advice? If so, you’ll want to let her know how much she means to you. You can show her with a message on a decorative wooden heart, a mug, tea glass or wine glass. If your grandma enjoys a tasty treat, she’s sure to love her very own wooden serving board featuring a personal message and her name.
Gift for grandpa
Is your grandpa your hero? Does he always tell funny jokes, join in fun games and help you build things? Let him know how much you appreciate him with a cool photo of the two of you on a mug, phone case or puzzle. If your grandpa likes a tasty treat, you could give him a beer, whiskey or wine gift set.
Drawing on a mug
Have you made a cool drawing for grandma or grandpa? If you want to do something extra special with it, have it printed on a mug! That way, they’ll see your lovely drawing every time they have a nice cup of tea or coffee. Our mugs are dishwasher safe, so they don’t even need to worry about extra washing up. You can have your drawing printed on other gifts too, such as phone cases, wine-, beer-, or whiskey bottle labels or on a water bottle, to name a few. The possibilities are endless!
Let them know they’re going to be grandparents
If you’re pregnant and are looking for an original way to tell your parents they’re going to be grandparents, create a special pregnancy announcement! Have a photo of the echo printed on a wooden card, add a romper that says ‘You’re going to be grandparents!’. If you’d like to put together a great set, you can add a personalised dummy. However you tell them, they’ll be over the moon.
Celebrate grandma or grandpa’s birthday
Would you like to surprise your grandma or grandpa with a great gift for their birthday? If you’re not sure what to get them, we have some tips for you. How about a wall clock or puzzle featuring a photo of all of their grandchildren? If they enjoy a nice cuppa every day, an engraved wooden tea box featuring a sweet text would be perfect. Other popular gifts are a personalised mug, chocolate or canvas.
Surprise your grandparents on Mother’s Day and Father’s Day
Don’t forget grandma and grandpa on Mother’s- and Father’s Day! They are proud parents too. The gift doesn’t have to be big, it’s all about the gesture. If you’re unable to visit them, you can have their gift sent straight to their address.
For grandparents who are unable to see each other or their grandchildren
If they are a little older, it could be that grandma and grandpa are unable to live together any more. Perhaps one of them has even been left on their own. Other grandparents are simply unable to see their grandchildren very often, and miss them a lot. How can you comfort someone who doesn’t have their loved ones around often or any more? It seems almost impossible. Nonetheless, we received a wonderful response from a grandmother who had a cushion made featuring a photo of her grandchildren. She felt this allowed her to keep them close. While it can never replace the real thing, she was so very happy, which touched us deeply. It’s not about the size of the gift, but about the emotion.
