It's a beautiful wine with a nod to the town of Zierikzee, which is where YourSurprise is situated, and is a great combination of personalisation and craftmanship. Our collection includes 5 delicious wines, with various gifting options available, such as a Maison de la Surprise Merlot with a personalised label, or in a wooden case with a personalised engraved lid.

Information about this gift

Are the wines in the Maison de la Surprise set dry?

Yes, both Merlot and Chardonnay wines are dry. The Merlot has a full, smooth, and balanced taste, while the Chardonnay is fresh and fruity.

Can I have a logo engraved on my gift?

Custom engravings are only possible for a minimum quantity of pieces through our business department and not directly in our online editor (number of pieces might vary per product).

Can I have a photo engraved?

No. The beer glass only supports laser engraving with text and standard designs available in the editor, not photos.

What colour is the engraving?

Engraving works by etching slightly into the surface of the product, so it isn't a colour that's applied: it's the material itself that determines the look. For example, engraving typically appears white on glass and brown on wood, taking on the natural tone the material shows once etched.

Is the engraving dishwasher safe?

Yes, in general engraving holds up well to cleaning. That said, dishwasher use depends on the specific product, since each item is made differently; so it's a good idea to check the care instructions for that particular piece before putting it in the dishwasher.

Can symbols or special characters be added to the engraving?

No. The engraving system only accepts regular letters, numbers, and standard punctuation marks, so sumbols and special characters cannot be added directly.

Can I engrave my own custom design ?

You can use your own custom design as a text engraving within the available fields in the editor starting from 1 piece; but a fully custom design isn't available that way. If you'd like a specific design engraved, such as a logo, that's possible for bulk orders through our business department.

What is personalising and how does this work on the website?
You can start making your gift by clicking the ‘start personalising’ button. In our gift editor, you can personalise the gift completely in accordance with your wishes: add your own picture and/or text. If you want, you can also opt for a cool design to make your gift truly unique.

Is my gift wrapped?
Currently, we do not have a gift-wrapping service to wrap your present. We do deliver our gifts in a festive packaging. This means that your gift is ready to be given or that it can be sent to the recipient directly.
